Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician Scottsdale, Arizona Gaines Investment Trust is building our team and looking to connect with a Maintenance Technician to support our apartment community in Scottsdale, Arizona. Compensation: $22 $26 per hour based on experience Monthly performance bonuses What You Will Do: Complete routine and corrective maintenance in apartment homes and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and carpentry Respond to service requests in a timely, professional, and resident-focused manner Assist with apartment turns, including painting, repairs, and general preparation for new move-ins Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections Maintain the appearance of the community by assisting with grounds and common area upkeep Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies Communicate effectively with residents, office staff, and supervisors What You Will Bring: Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience Prior multifamily maintenance experience preferred Hands-on experience in maintenance, construction, facilities, HVAC, or mechanical work EPA certification preferred HVAC certification required or in progress Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to commute within 2030 minutes of the property Ability to follow directions and work independently Ability to lift, carry, climb stairs, and work both indoors and outdoors Strong work ethic, reliability, and communication skills Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Rent Discount Professional Development and Training Employee Assistance Program PTO, Paid Holidays, and a Floating Holiday Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Optional Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and AD&D Insurance Life Insurance Flexible Spending Account 401(k) Pet Insurance About Gaines Investment Trust: Gaines Investment Trust is a family-owned real estate investment and management company with a portfolio of over 8,000 apartment homes across multiple states.
