Where You'll Make an Impact Perform on‑site preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow‑up repairs on commercial trailers in a field environment. Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance. Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, suspension, and air systems – keeping trailers safe, compliant, and road‑ready. Repair structural and exterior components such as corner nose rails, corner radius, wheel seals, bottom skirts, panels, doors, and top rails. Put your expertise to work using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to get the job done right. Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beating industry‑standard repair times. Jump in wherever needed – we’re a team that supports each other. What Makes You a Great Fit At least three years of hands‑on trailer tech experience working on commercial trailers. DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise that keeps fleets rolling safely. Strong communication skills – you know how to connect and communicate with customers and drivers alike. Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems, and digital tools to stay organized and document repairs. Ready for the outdoors – rain or shine at customer yards. Independent, dependable, and self‑motivated – you take pride in getting the job done right. A positive attitude and safety‑first mindset. Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license. Bring your own hand tools and we’ll supply everything else. Work Environment Work in dynamic, high‑traffic areas – safety and precision are key. Expect exposure to dust, diesel fumes, and noise typical of a shop or yard environment. Safely handle chemicals, oils, and grease as part of repair work. Be ready to lift, move, and position heavy equipment or components. Stay active – you’ll bend, kneel, crawl, and crouch to access vehicle components. Work outdoors in all weather conditions – rain or shine, our team gets it done.
