Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses, soiled linens and garbage. Deliver linen and necessary supplies to room attendants. Shampoo carpets, strip and wax floors throughout the hotel. Cleans designated areas such as lobby, public restroom, public areas and back‑of‑house areas. Collect trash throughout the hotel including room attendants carts, vending, room service areas, office and restrooms. Respond to guest requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies (e.g., linens, infant cribs, etc.) in a timely efficient manner. Inspect all public areas to ensure cleanliness standards have been met; report any problem area to the supervisor. Perform other duties, projects, and tasks as assigned by the employee’s manager. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures. Require good communication skills, both verbal and written. Require excellent attention to detail. Significant amounts of walking, bending, kneeling and standing. Ability to lift and push/pull approximately 50 lbs. Continuous standing throughout the day. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
