*About the Role* We are hiring a *Patient Access Specialist* to support a fastpaced healthcare environment. This role focuses on administrative and clerical support related to patient records, billing documentation, and internal requests.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, customer service experience, and interest in building a career in healthcare operations.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Process and fulfill requests for medical records, EOBs, UB92 forms, and itemized statements
* Sort, track, and distribute incoming mail and documentation
* Perform general office tasks including filing, scanning, indexing, and data entry
* Review and process claims and documentation from multiple sources
* Work within system queues and online files to complete assigned tasks
* Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of work items
* Communicate with internal teams regarding requests and documentation needs
*What We're Looking For* *Required Qualifications*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous administrative, office, or customer service experience
* Familiarity with medical terminology
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and handle research tasks
* Comfortable in a *fastpaced, highvolume environment*
* Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*Preferred (Nice to Have)*
* Experience in healthcare or patient access
* Exposure to EPIC or similar systems
* Data entry or 10key experience
* Customer service experience
*Schedule & Work Environment*
* *Onsite role in Chattanooga, TN*
* Office/healthcare setting with a collaborative team environment
* Various shift options may be available (day, mid, or rotating schedules)
* Fastpaced environment with high daily volume

*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Chattanooga, TN.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
