Support Engineer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ensure that all Hanwha Philly Shipyard safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met Offer hardware, software and application support across all platforms, including PCs, Macs, iOS/Android devices, and Cisco VOIP phones Respond to help desk calls from internal and field employees, providing problem resolution through phone, email, remote access and in-person Prepare and deploy hardware, desktops, laptops, and mobile platforms Maintain all printers, including deployment, troubleshooting, and supply management Maintain and track all IT hardware inventory and software licensing Manage and coordinate support for Mobile Devices and Service Plans Provide basic network hardware installation and configuration assistance Provide basic Active Directory management and server application support Participate in on-call afterhours support rotation on a scheduled basis Perform other related duties as required and assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred; Associate's Degree in a related field and years of experience will be considered Prior experience with server hardware, software and applications 2-3 years' experience in desktop support preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke. Work may be carried on indoors or outdoors, and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions. *Hanwha Philly Shipyard is a TOBACCO-FREE facility.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is an on-site, full-time, safety-sensitive position. Standard days and hours of work vary by department, days and hours determined by department schedules.
