Responsibilities: • Create and maintain connections with key group and catering accounts in order to keep and expand our market share • Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities • Plan and compile the department budget in accordance with the hotel's overall sales objectives and strategy, with the assistance of the director of sales and marketing • Conduct yourself as a professional representative of the hotel at various industry tradeshows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines of the budget and marketing plan • Increase new business and accelerate revenue generation by cold calling, on-site visits, and sales tours, as well as engaging your local community network Qualifications: • Outstanding organizational skills and time management • Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively • 3 or more years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in hospitality • Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required • High school diploma or GED, and bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred 2 years of more of hospitality sales experience Compensation: $48,000 - $55,000 yearly
