Location:  Kennedale, Texas

Pacific West Environmental & Infrastructure is seeking an experienced CME Rig Operator to join our growing team in the Kennedale, Texas area.  this is a hands-on field position for a safety-focused professional with demonstrated experience operating CME drilling equipment and completing geotechnical and environmental drilling projects.

The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining equipment, producing quality work, and working collaboratively with project teams to complete jobs safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate CME drill rigs and associated drilling equipment.
• Perform soil borings, sampling, monitoring well installations, and other geotechnical or environmental drilling activities.
• Mobilize, set up, operate, and break down drilling equipment at project sites.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and identify maintenance on repair needs.
• Complete routine maintenance and help keep drilling equipment, tools, and vehicles in safe operating order.
• Review project requirements and coordinate daily activities with project managers, field supervisors, and clients.
• Maintain accurate drilling logs, equipment inspection records, and daily field documentation.
• Foll all company, client, OSHA, and DOT safety requirements.
• Lead and provide direction to drilling helpers assigned to the crew.
• Maintain a clean, organized and professional work area.
• Travel to project locations as operational needs require.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience operating CME drill rigs.
• Experience with geotechnical, environmental, or construction drilling methods.
• Working knowledge of hollow-stem auger drilling, soil sampling, and monitoring well installation.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles and safely transport drilling equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot drilling equipment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Ability to read project plans, follow written instructions, and complete required documentation.
• Dependable and willingness/ability to travel as necessary based on operational need.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating multiple CME rig models.
• OHSA 10- or OSHA 30-hour certification
• HAZWOPPER certification
• Current DOT medical certification
• Experience supervising or training drilling helpers.
• Familiarity with environmental remediation and heavy civil construction projects.
