Senior Property Accountant

Senior Lease Accountant / Lease Administration We're partnering with a well-established commercial real estate organization seeking an experienced Senior Lease Accountant to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with a strong background in commercial real estate lease accounting, lease administration, and ASC 842 compliance who enjoys working with complex, multi-property portfolios. Responsibilities Manage lease accounting activities in compliance with ASC 842 across a commercial real estate portfolio. Review and maintain straight-line rent schedules, lease modifications, reassessments, and deferred rent accounting. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes related to lease accounting. Partner with Lease Administration, Asset Management, Property Management, and Legal teams to ensure lease provisions are accurately reflected in financial records. Review CAM reconciliations, tax, insurance, and utility recoveries. Assist with tenant billings and resolve lease-related accounting discrepancies. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Qualifications 3 to 5+ years of accounting experience within commercial real estate . Experience supporting commercial, retail, mixed-use, or industrial property portfolios. Strong knowledge of: ASC 842 Lease Administration Lease Accounting Lease modifications Deferred rent CAM reconciliations NNN lease structures Experience with Yardi Voyager or a similar real estate ERP system is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Preferred Background We're looking for someone who has worked with large, multi-property commercial real estate portfolios and understands the complexities of lease accounting, tenant recoveries, and commercial lease administration. #J-18808-Ljbffr
