Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN)

We are currently expanding our team at Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI) and Maryland Correctional Institution - Hagerstown (MCIH) and would love for you to be part of it. The Certified Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) in Hagerstown is responsible for assessing and managing a variety of complex wound conditions, including deep wounds, skin tears, ostomies, severe burns, pressure injuries, bedsores, and diabetic foot wounds. This role works closely with clinical staff to promote optimal healing outcomes and is expected to remain current on evidence‑based wound care practices, treatments, and products. The Wound Care RN in Westover provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor, the RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
