Job Title: Electrical Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician with comprehensive electrical knowledge, including an understanding of both high and low voltage schematics, drive systems, temperature controllers, P&ID loops, and basic PLC programming. The ideal candidate will be skilled in phone support and troubleshooting, and experienced in using a variety of electrical control devices while maintaining UL and CE compliance.
Responsibilities
- Understand and work with 3-phase, single phase, VAC, and VDC circuits.
- Possess knowledge of 4-20mA and 0-10V loops.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Fabricate and install parts conforming to Engineering CAD drawings.
- Analyze product needs and requirements to improve designs.
- Provide feedback on potential improvements to the Engineering Department.
- Perform furnace fieldwork for setups, rebuilds, repairs, installations, and start-ups.
- Travel for fieldwork, which includes infrequent car and air travel (less than 15%, with international travel requiring a passport).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, repair, and schematic reading.
- Experience in assembly, service, wiring, field service, installation, electronics, and blueprint reading.
- Knowledge of pneumatics and preventive maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
- Ability to meet goals on time and within budget.
- Capacity to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and MS Teams).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with ISO 9001 compliance.
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively.

Work Environment
You will be working in a service-minded environment, requiring both independent work and collaboration within a small team. The role includes occasional travel by car and air, including international travel, which will require a passport.
