Senior Construction Project Manager

Job Description

A local established design -build firm located in Rockville; Maryland is looking for a full-time Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 10years’ experience in design and construction of commercial projects.

Responsibilitie s

oversee commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout
review design build drawings for coordination
coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, superintendents, architects and owner's representatives.
oversee RFIs, submittals, permits, inspections, and project documentation.
monitor quality and safety, resolve project issues, and communicate progress to clients.
oversee multiple projects as needed.
Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Professional architectural / engineering license is preferred
minimum 10 years of construction management experience
proficiency with construction management and scheduling software.

Experienced in a wide range of construction projects, our team of in-house architects, engineers, construction managers, and trades crafts personnel has a proven track record in successfully completing hundreds of projects under job order contracts with Montgomery County Government (MCG), Howard County Government, Montgomery College, Montgomery County Public Schools, Prince George’s County Public Schools, City of Arlington, Fairfax County Government, and Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.
