Client Onboarding Specialist

This position is based out of our Fort Myers, FL office and is eligible for a hybrid schedule after successful completion of the probationary period.JOB OVERVIEWThe New Client Accounts Specialist - Onboarding serves as a point of contact for establishing and funding new accounts. The ideal candidate for this role strives to enhance and expand client relationships to improve client satisfaction, and provides additional opportunities or education related to ETC products and services available. This role often works cross functionally with the Sales, Client Services, and Operations teams to strengthen client loyalty, referrals, and retention.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESMaintains a strong understanding of the alternative investments our clients prefer including but not limited to: Private Funds, Commercial Real Estate, Venture Capital, Angel Investing and moreEfficiently and proactively manages client correspondence (incoming calls, emails, chats, and client visits)Reaches out to prospective clients via phone call, text, and/or email to provide support with applicationAnswers client questions regarding IRA rules and our IRA set up processAssists with existing channels of referrals and current relationships to identify ways to build new business and deepen relationshipsEnsures that new clients are successfully transitioned into our service department upon completing the new account onboarding processUtilizes Salesforce to keep all transaction and case statuses updated, also logging all communication.Builds and maintains relationships with account holders and referral sourcesCollaborates with the management team for special events or meetingsWorks across departments to assist with special projects, as necessaryAttends industry trade shows, seminars, conferences, and networking events on occasion (some nights/weekends may be required)Follows assigned work schedule with regular and predictable attendancePerform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree required or 2+ years of relevant work experience2 years of experience in the financial sector, specifically working with advisers, financial planning, asset management programs, and private placement fundsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIn person interaction that includes actively collaborating with colleagues and participating in team or company meetingsPROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONSNoneTECHNICAL SKILLSTo be successful in this role, you should have experience with and an understanding of the following:Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteCULTURAL COMPETENCIESIn addition to our core company competencies of Excellence, Passion, Integrity, and Collaboration, a successful candidate in this role should exhibit the following behavioral competencies:Attention to Detail & Accuracy: Consistently produces accurate work in transaction processing and data entry while maintaining high quality standardsClient Focus & Communication: Responds promptly to client needs, provides clear and professional communication, and follows through on commitmentsAccountability & Time Management: Takes ownership of assigned work, manages competing priorities effectively, and meets service level agreements consistentlyAdaptability & Learning: Embraces new processes and systems, seeks opportunities to expand knowledge, and adjusts to changing work demandsCollaboration & Teamwork: Works effectively with colleagues across departments, shares knowledge, and contributes to team successPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in a professional office environment, which may include a corporate office setting or a remote/home office environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment and technology such as computers, phones, printers, and video conferencing tools.
