Maintenance Assistant

$18 - $20 per hour

Connect Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Helper for a facility in Garden Grove, CA. This is a temporary position paying $18-$20/hr depending on experience. In this role, you will clean up work areas, repaint surfaces, and reorganize spaces as part of a series of facility improvement projects. The schedule is consistent Monday through Friday days.

Pay: $18-$20/hr (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Job Type: Temporary

Primary workplace language(s): Spanish

Work Environment: Facility / Indoor

Responsibilities

Clean up work areas throughout the facility between and after project phases.
Paint interior and exterior surfaces using rollers, brushes, or sprayers as directed.
Reorganize storage areas, rooms, and common spaces to meet project specs.
Move furniture, equipment, and materials to support ongoing project work.
Dispose of debris and maintain a clean, safe work site throughout the day.
Follow supervisor instructions on task priorities and project sequencing.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience painting walls, trim, or other interior surfaces.
Familiarity with basic hand tools used in facility maintenance or light construction.
Experience working on short-term project-based assignments.
Ability to communicate in Spanish (primary worksite language).
Background in facilities, property maintenance, or light janitorial work.
Previous experience in a maintenance, janitorial, construction, or general labor role.
Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions in a project-based environment.
