Senior Integration & Test Engineer

Salary: $100,000 - 145,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience
• Minimum of 13 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree
• Experience with integrating and testing large electronic systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex systems, including hardware, software, and communication networks
• Familiarity with testing deployed systems
• Strong grasp of communication systems architecture and protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings
• Effective leadership and team management skills
• Experience in logistics management, including inventory oversight and equipment shipping
• Capability to work under pressure and manage time-sensitive projects
• Knowledge of safety protocols for on-site installations
• Background in training and mentoring team members
• Commitment to continuous learning in the field of communication technologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Serve as an Integration and Test Engineer for the Voice Switching and Control System (VSCS), overseeing equipment removal and installation
• Lead the installation team while ensuring clear communication among team members and management
• Diagnose and resolve hardware connectivity and operational challenges
• Work collaboratively with FAA customers and subcontractors to ensure project success
• Provide on-site support during system retrofit activities and prepare comprehensive reports for management and clients
• Coordinate with the project lead to address project-related actions and concerns
• Conduct site surveys and generate detailed reports while managing ordering, testing, and shipping of necessary equipment
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to enhance project delivery
• Propose and implement initiatives for process improvement, regularly updating the project lead on progress
• Employ a robust engineering process to close technical issues effectively
• Willingness to obtain a FAA Public Trust security clearance
• Prepare for significant travel (90%) and work at various FAA locations for durations of 3-to-9 months as required
