Founding Electrical Engineer

Design, prototype, bring up, and debug custom circuit boards and electrical systems for precision autonomous machines, including sensing, actuation, measurement, and control. Build test fixtures and instrumentation, develop an agentic harness for the PCB fabrication machine, and own subsystems from architecture and schematics through working implementations.

Requirements

Requires senior-level electrical engineering experience, hands-on circuit board design and debugging, and a track record at a company that ships real hardware. Candidates should be skilled with lab instruments, understand mechanical and systems interactions, be able to write firmware or software, and work on-site in San Francisco on a demanding six-day schedule; a relevant degree or equivalent experience is expected.
