Students of the Upper Moreland Township School District will be provided with the foundation and skills necessary to excel in the exciting, complex, and interdependent world in which they live.Responsible for providing nursing services to students in assigned building.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: (Other appropriate duties may be assigned.)Maintain health and nursing services records for studentsIdentify school health problems and inform staff members and administration as necessaryOrganize, schedule, perform, and record annual health examinations and screeningsDispense prescribed medication and health services as directed by a physician orderProvide care for first aid, accidents, and illnessesComplete state required paperwork and reports in a timely mannerServe as a resource for staff and administration in regards to school health servicesServe on relevant committees and groups as neededServe as the liaison between parents and the school on all health related mattersProvide outreach to families for the collection of state required examinations and immunization recordsProvide support for school related health pandemic concerns, including outreach, family contact, and reportingOther duties as assigned by administrationQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
