Registered NurseProfession: RN Specialty: Post Partum (Mother Baby) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hours Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, must be recent (within the past 6 months) License: Required Certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of recent experience - Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting - Competency in simulation lab on day 1 of orientationDescription: The unit consists of 28 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3 couplets to 1. Common diagnoses include Pre-Eclampsia, Diabetes, Hypertension, and Stable Post Hemorrhage. Patients include those delivered vaginally and via cesarean section. The facility has an OB Clientist available 24/7. Nurses may float to other areas as needed. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule. Holidays are worked as needed. Nursing staff are supported by an IV team and pharmacy, both available 24/7.
