Gerelco Traffic Controls - we are specialty contractors that provide installation services for highway lighting, signage, traffic signal intersections, and complete (ITS) Intelligent Traffic Systems. We have a drill shaft crew able to create the foundations and install any sign from a single sign post to a large cantilever structure.

Essential Functions

• Cleanup of construction site as needed, by removing and properly disposing of construction debris, rubble, waste materials and other site hazards
• Moving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools, machinery, and other equipment are safely set up.
• Add and/or remove fill on jobsite
• Set braces to support trenches or excavation areas
• Assist in bending conduit and pulling wire
• Unload trucks, receive deliveries and transfer materials throughout jobsite
• Maintain a safe, clean and secure job site by handling and storing materials and tools properly when not in use
• Operate equipment on the job site

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Employee must be able to work overhead, climb ladders, operate hand and power tools. Some work may be at heights up to and exceeding 90 feet and may be in confined spaces. Required Education and Experience

• Must be dependable and flexible.
• Willingness to learn and assist where needed
• Ability to lift heavy supplies and equipment
• Must have a valid commercial driver's license with a clean history and at least two years driving experience
