The Athletic Trainer position is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of athletic training and sports medicine services for Men's and Women's Track and Field with secondary sport coverage as determined by the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in health and exercise science, sports medicine, kinesiology, anatomy or related field
• Minimum of two years of previous experience as a certified athletic trainer
• Current BOC certification
• Current license as an athletic trainer with the State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) required prior to the start date of employment
• High level of clinical athletic training skills, effective communication, and ability to work effectively with a team-based approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Broad-based experience
• Experience working full-time in an intercollegiate sports medicine or athletic training program at the NCAA Division I level
• Ability to manage competing and urgent priorities and meet deadlines in a high demand profession
• Ability to respond professionally and competently in emergency situations
