Loan Originator Assistant Unlicensed

Loan Originator Assistant-Unlicensed D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Loan Originator Assistant-Unlicensed. The right candidate will support the Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) so that the MLO can focus on producing more volume and provide a higher level of customer service. Responsibilities Communicate with parties to the transaction to update them on loan status Track outstanding applications and loan documents and call customers to follow up on those documents Schedule appointments for the MLO Assist the MLO in converting prequalification to applications in the LOS, handling the administrative side of setting up the electronic loan package Assist MLO in preparing loan application documentation to submit to processing Assist MLO in returning phone calls when appropriate, providing only basic status updates or requests for information Monitor pipeline reports daily for status of applications and communicate with processors weekly/daily to ensure loans move through the approval process Occasionally provide initial file set‑up (e.g., order appraisal, title, verifications) Maintain current knowledge of company and investor guidelines, state and federal regulations Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve customers and enhance company goodwill and profit Be available to work overtime and travel overnight when required Education & Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Six months to one year of related experience and/or training Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong detail orientation and highly organized Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral form or via DRH applications Proficiency with MS Office and email Ability to sit for the majority of an 8‑hour workday and use hands, fingers, arms, and hearing as required Comfortable working in moderate noise levels Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with loan origination software and CRM systems Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision 401(k) Employee Stock Purchase Plan Flex Spending Accounts Life & Disability Insurance Vacation, Sick, Personal Time and Company Holidays Multiple voluntary and company‑provided benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr
