Sr. Software Engineer

Duties:
Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the companys business objectives. Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces. Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies. Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts. Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems. Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages. Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance. Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis.

Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of complex Salesforce solutions (Service Cloud, Community/Experience Cloud). • Define and govern technical architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices, Apex design parameters, governor limits, and shared platform standards. • Perform and oversee technical configuration, customization, and development using Apex, Lightning (LWC), HTML/CSS, and JavaScript. • Architect and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using REST APIs, Boomi, SSO, and Identity & Access Management solutions. • Translate complex business requirements into well-architected, scalable technical solutions that maximize the value of the Salesforce platform. • Lead technical planning, estimation, and sprint execution in collaboration with QA, DevOps, and release teams to ensure high-quality, timely deployments. • Drive troubleshooting and resolution of complex production issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration failures. • Support salesforce automation, customer relationship management, and support/help desk solution delivery. • Act as a key point of contact and subject matter expert for Salesforce platform questions across the organization. • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels through clear verbal and written communication. Required Skills & Qualifications • 10+ years of overall experience in a related field. • 8+ years of hands-on experience managing and developing solutions on the Salesforce.com platform, with a key focus on order management capabilities/functions. • Demonstrated experience in a senior technical role, including team mentoring, code governance, and architectural ownership. • In-depth understanding of technical configuration, customization, and integration concepts for Salesforce. • Strong technical knowledge in delivering the full solution stack using Salesforce (Service Cloud, Community Cloud). • Integration experience with Salesforce: APIs. • Knowledge on APIGEE, and Kafka. • Strong hands-on experience with: Apex, HTML/CSS, Aura (Lightning), LWC, and JavaScript. • Experience in integrations between enterprise legacy systems and Salesforce using SOAP/REST APIs. • Strong understanding of Salesforce design and development best practices, Apex design parameters, governor limits, and shared platform best practices. • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
