• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for accurate testing when necessary.
• Keep thorough documentation of procedures, train new personnel or students, and assist in maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and organized workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health qualification along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Required to obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Must maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
