Overview Assist the school nurse (RN) by assuming routine record‑keeping activities, providing minor first‑aid care, and conducting health screenings at the campus level. Work under the immediate guidance and direction of a licensed registered nurse. Qualifications High School diploma or GED 24 hours of college credit or a certificate of completion from a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program Special Knowledge / Skills Knowledge of basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficient keyboarding and file‑maintenance skills Ability to use a personal computer and software to develop databases and do word processing Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) Experience One year experience in a health‑related position, including contact with school‑age children. Some experience working with children is preferred. Salary Salary: Minimum $24,819 annually. Salary will be prorated to your start date.
