Qualifications:

• Active State Special Education Teaching License
• Direct experience leading a High School Life Skills or self-contained classroom
• Strong background in high school transition planning, functional academics, and adaptive care

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction in functional academics, daily living skills, personal independence, and community integration
• Guide and mentor paraprofessionals in the classroom
• Develop and maintain IEPs, create functional goals, and drive post-secondary transition planning
