Job Overview Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a position in Florence, South Carolina. Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 8 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Maintain a professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co‑workers. Perform direct patient care and the provision of Respiratory Care and Hyperbaric Medicine (for those specially trained) procedures in all areas within the facility. Perform all procedures according to policy & procedure; organize workload to ensure therapy is completed as prescribed. Participate in all aspects of RC educational activities & departmental meetings. Document and maintain records, charts and reports promptly. Respond to Code Blue & Rapid Response alerts in a timely manner and document appropriately. Exercise sound clinical judgement & assessment skills to provide appropriate patient care & monitoring and communicate information to other caregivers. Evaluate patient care and make recommendations when needed. Specially trained – perform Pulmonary Functions, Methacholine Challenges, Hyperbaric Medicine, NICU care, PICU care and Asthma Education.
