HVAC SERVICE Technician Location: WA
Pay: HOURLY + BONUS
Department: HVAC
Reports to: Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Prepared/Revised Date: April 2026
Employee will perform the following job duties. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and evaluate HVAC systems to identify customer needs and system deficiencies
- Perform service, maintenance, and minor repairs in accordance with company standards
- Present clear, accurate, and professional solutions to customers, including repair and replacement options
- Accurately document all service activities, estimates, and customer interactions in company systems
- Meet or exceed established performance metrics, including revenue targets, close rates, and average ticket value
Qualifications & Personal Attributes:
- Minimum of 2+ years of HVAC service or installation experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability or willingness to develop strong sales skills in a service environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and any required pre-employment screenings in accordance with applicable laws
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Basic computer proficiency, including mobile applications, CRM systems, and dispatch software
- Ability to accurately document service calls, estimates, and customer interactions
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in the field
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Self-motivated with accountability for individual performance metrics
- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development
