Job Description
ICU Registered Nurse

Schedule

12-hour shifts preferred; 8-hour shifts possible. Shift assignments may include days or nights. Weekends are required (at least every other weekend).

Assignment Details

Floating to partner facilities may be required. Must have personal vehicle for assignment. Commitment to work 3 of the 5 major holidays is expected.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU settings.
• Compact nursing license required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CCRN.
• Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, ECMO, CRRT, and blood product administration.
• Charting experience with Epic is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Manage and monitor patients on ventilators, vasoactive infusions, and CRRT.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the care of post-surgical patients, including cardiac and neurosurgery.
• Perform assessments and interpret vital signs and laboratory results.
