Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant – ERP Finance Domain to serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Finance executives, and business leaders. This role is responsible for leading enterprise Finance transformation initiatives, developing financial strategies, and driving ERP Finance Cloud-enabled business transformation for large organizations.

The Principal Consultant partners with executive stakeholders to define Finance transformation strategies, modernize operating models, and align fiscal discipline, business processes, and technology with organizational objectives. Working closely with ERP service lines, enterprise architects, solution architects, and delivery teams, this individual ensures successful execution from strategy through implementation while cultivating long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Finance executives, and business leadership teams.
• Facilitate executive workshops, strategy sessions, and Finance transformation planning engagements.
• Develop enterprise Finance transformation strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the creation of multi-year Finance transformation roadmaps.
• Advise executives on financial strategy, organizational effectiveness, working capital optimization, regulatory compliance, and digital Finance transformation.
• Help clients maximize business value through ERP Finance Cloud capabilities.
• Lead current-state assessments of Finance organizations, business processes, systems, and operating models.
• Design future-state Finance operating models aligned with business strategy and ERP Finance Cloud best practices.
• Develop business cases, investment strategies, and value realization plans.
• Lead Finance transformation across:
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Treasury
• Cash Management
• Tax
• Collaborate with ERP service lines, enterprise architects, and implementation teams to translate strategy into execution.
• Ensure solutions leverage ERP Finance Cloud best practices and industry standards.

Client Relationship Management

• Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and Finance leadership.
• Serve as the executive engagement lead throughout the consulting lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and introduce additional Finance transformation services.
• Support business development through proposals, executive presentations, and strategic pursuits.
• Guide clients through Finance operating model modernization and organizational change.

Thought Leadership

• Monitor emerging Finance technologies, AI trends, and ERP Finance Cloud capabilities.
• Conduct Finance benchmarking and maturity assessments.
• Develop consulting methodologies, frameworks, and accelerators.
• Publish thought leadership through executive presentations, white papers, webinars, and internal knowledge-sharing.
• Mentor consulting teams and contribute to organizational capability development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• MBA or Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of ERP Finance consulting and Finance transformation experience.
• Extensive experience leading ERP Finance Cloud transformation programs for large enterprises.

• Proven ability to influence executive decision-making and lead complex consulting engagements.
• Willingness to travel as required.

• Previous experience with a leading consulting firm or global systems integrator.
