Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, executing detailed medical histories and physical examinations
• Contribute to the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions, efficiently interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment protocols
• Provide essential support during operations, including room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument handling
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, focusing on medication management, wound care, discharge activities, and patient education needs

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong surgical emphasis is highly desirable

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant
