Please note that this is a remote position, but the candidate must be willing to go onsite if requested by the client.

Position Responsibilities:

As a ServiceNow Automation Engineer , you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated ServiceNow Service Catalog workflows to facilitate the deployment of Dynatrace OneAgent across various operating environments (Windows, Linux, and AIX). You will leverage existing Configuration Management Database (CMDB) information to identify and document Configuration Item (CI) relationships and collaborate with application support teams to validate and tag CIs.

Additionally, you will ensure proper integration with change management processes, coordinate deployments and dashboards with technical teams, and update CI records to enable tracking and reporting of deployment status.

Qualifications:

• Experience designing, developing, and supporting ServiceNow Service Catalog workflows and solutions.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Service Catalog and ServiceNow CMDB.
• Relevant background in developing, implementing, and supporting ServiceNow workflows and integrations.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow MID Server, Dynatrace OneAgent, and automation/scripting tools.
• Working experience with Tanium, Windows, Linux, and AIX operating systems is a plus.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of change management platforms and processes in a large enterprise context.

Essential Skills, Experience

• Experience designing, developing, and supporting ServiceNow Service Catalog workflows and solutions
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB structure, CI relationships, and CI validation processes
• Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow MID Server deployments and integration.
• Proficient in automation and scripting within complex enterprise environments.
• Solid working knowledge of major operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and AIX.
• Experience integrating technical workflow automations with enterprise change management processes and platforms.
• Comfortable with creating and applying CI naming conventions and tag requirements.
• Experience working with Dynatrace OneAgent and collaborating with associated support teams.
• Ability to create, maintain, and store CI tag files on designated network shares.
• Skilled in updating CI custom fields for tracking deployment statuses and generating deployment-related reports.
• Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and partner with application support and infrastructure teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations and adhere to CI validation service-level agreements.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
