State & Local Tax Compliance SpecialistA compliance-focused role for a detail-oriented tax professional. A well-respected regional CPA and advisory firm is hiring a State & Local Tax Compliance Specialist in the Columbus area. You'll join a respected team serving a wide range of clients, with the support and visibility to keep building your career.What you'll do:- Prepare multistate income/franchise and gross receipts tax returns, business licenses and annual reports- Handle sales/use and employment tax registrations- Manage a monthly compliance calendar and jurisdiction notices- Conduct tax research as neededWhat you bring:- Two-year accounting degree or 3+ years as a bookkeeper/accountant- Pass-through or corporate return experience preferred- Strong Excel and organizational skillsWhy join:- Hybrid work arrangement- Clear advancement path and mentoring from experienced leaders- Diverse middle-market client base across many industries- Collaborative culture that invests in professional developmentPay: $60K - $78K + bonus potential
