About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Safety, Quality, and Compliance to serve as the executive authority responsible for leading and maintaining the organization's quality management, aviation safety, occupational health, and regulatory compliance programs. The successful candidate will be tasked with establishing and championing the strategic vision for quality systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a strong leader who can foster a proactive safety culture, manage safety and quality teams, and ensure compliance with a range of regulatory standards, including FAA, DOD, DCMA, and international regulations. Applicants for the Vice President of Safety, Quality, and Compliance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in aviation quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role demands a proven track record in both government and commercial aviation environments, with a strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to enforce standards while championing a non-punitive culture, and a background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. A proactive approach to problem-solving, the ability to mentor and lead a high-performing team, and a commitment to the highest standards of safety and quality are essential.
