Automotive TechnicianCharlie’s CDJR is seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to join our service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, with a focus on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram models. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, etc.)Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues using advanced diagnostic toolsComplete repairs accurately and efficiently according to manufacturer standardsConduct multi-point inspections and identify additional service needsMaintain clear and accurate documentation of all work performedCommunicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status and repair recommendationsStay up to date with manufacturer training and certificationsEnsure a clean, safe, and organized work environmentFollow all dealership and manufacturer safety proceduresQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical school training preferred)ASE certification(s) strongly preferredPrevious experience as an automotive technician (dealership experience a plus)Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsProficiency with automotive tools and equipmentValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred SkillsExperience with CDJR vehicles and systemsFamiliarity with dealership service softwareStrong attention to detail and time managementPositive attitude and commitment to continuous improvementPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsLift and carry up to 50 poundsPerform repetitive motions and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, reaching)BenefitsCompetitive pay (hourly or flat rate based on experience)Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOngoing training and certification opportunitiesEmployee discounts on vehicles and servicesCareer growth opportunities within the dealership
