Soliant is recruiting educational diagnosticians in the North/Central Houston area for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you will work alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to identify students' unique learning needs and ensure they receive the services and supports necessary for academic success. - Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and educational assessments for students referred for special education services.
- Interpret assessment data to determine eligibility for special education and related services.
- Prepare written evaluation reports that clearly communicate assessment findings and recommendations.
- Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee meetings and present evaluation results to parents and educational staff.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, speech-language pathologists, school psychologists, and other professionals to develop appropriate educational programs.
- Assist in developing measurable Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on evaluation data.
- Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, Texas Education Code, and TEA regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation.
- Monitor evaluation timelines and ensure timely completion of referrals and reevaluations.
- Provide consultation to campus staff regarding instructional strategies, accommodations, and interventions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education.
To be considered, qualified applicants must have a master's degree from an accredited college or university, valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certificate, and valid Texas teaching certificate.
