Overview Sentara CarePlex located in Hampton, VA is hiring a Traveler for a Temporary Full Time Registered Nurse Day Shift position in the Emergency Department. Assignment: 14 weeks. Pay: $70 per hour. Shift: First (Days). Location Hampton, Virginia. Education Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required. Certification / Licensure Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Experience Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN ER experience. The Emergency Department contains 43 beds, including 11 fast-track beds. Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse, one will assess and admit patients, perform rounding checks, administer medications, communicate with family members, and oversee overall patient care in a team-oriented environment.
