Landfill Civil & Environmental Engineer - Waste Management

Waste Management

WM seeks a Landfill Civil & Environmental Engineer to plan, design, and oversee landfill infrastructure and environmental control systems. You will manage engineering projects from permitting through construction and closure, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities include groundwater and gas monitoring programs, stability and settlement analyses, stormwater and leachate system design, and consultant/contractor oversight. You will collaborate with operations, safety, and environmental teams to support sustainable, cost-effective landfill performance and help advance WM’s long-term environmental and renewable energy initiatives.
