Project Engineer

6-Month Contract | Raleigh, NC or Remote | Up to 20% Travel We’re seeking a Project Engineer to support the design and execution of high-voltage FACTS and substation EPC projects. This is a technical coordination role- not a primary design position; working closely with engineering, project management, procurement, sales, and field teams. Responsibilities Coordinate engineering activities, deliverables, schedules, and milestones across 2–3 projects. Review engineering drawings, technical packages, and project documentation. Support field installation and commissioning by resolving technical questions. Coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal engineering teams. Identify risks and help drive technical solutions through project execution. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 3+ years of high-voltage substation or FACTS EPC experience. Background in substation engineering/design with strong knowledge of HV equipment. Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
