Class A CDL Driver - Home Often

Job Description

Join a dedicated CDL-A fleet that offers consistent freight, predictable routes, and dependable home time. This semi-local position is ideal for drivers who enjoy steady miles, modern equipment, and a dedicated customer operation while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

Drivers on this account deliver grocery products in dry van trailers and enjoy a no-touch freight operation with the majority of loads being drop-and-hook. With dedicated freight, consistent schedules, and year-round work, this position provides the stability and support needed for long-term success.

Job Details

Semi-local dedicated account
Deliver grocery products in dry van trailers
Majority drop-and-hook freight
Some live unload freight
No-touch freight
Consistent customer deliveries
Dedicated freight operation
Drivers may assist other company accounts when needed

Schedule

Consistent freight year-round
Flexible operation based on freight demand
Additional layovers may occur during winter weather conditions

Equipment

Automatic day cab tractors
International and Freightliner equipment
Slip-seat operation
Modern, well-maintained fleet
Trucks must remain at the account during time off

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
Ability and willingness to install tire chains when weather conditions require
Strong safety record
Professional and dependable work ethic
Flexibility to assist other accounts when necessary

Special Requirements

Drivers must be comfortable operating in mountain and winter driving conditions
Weather-related route changes may require overnight stays
Hotel accommodations and layover pay provided when weather conditions create delays
Winter weather may result in additional layovers during peak season
