Overview Superior Ambulance Service started in 1959 with one ambulance and today is the largest independent, locally owned, and operated emergency medical services provider in the Midwest. The company employs more than 4,000 licensed EMTs, Paramedics, and Nurses, and operates a fleet of more than 800 ambulances across Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin, along with critical care, helicopter, and fixed‑wing emergency medical transportation. Responsibilities Travel up to 50% Plan, organize, and participate in career fairs, presentations, and other events to create and retain partnerships. Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and best practices related to recruitment, hiring, and employment. Support the full life‑cycle recruiting process: sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing, assessment, selection, perform background checks, and extend offers of employment as needed. Post positions and source candidates using job posting websites, job boards, social media, professional networking, and cold calling. Collaborate with HR and management teams to develop effective recruitment strategies. Prepare information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Collaborate with recruiters in the states where Superior operates. Report to the Recruiting Outreach Lead. Qualifications 0–2 years of recruiting experience. Ability to work independently and collaborate with the recruitment team in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change. Ability to multi‑task. Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new systems. Availability to report to the Warren site Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., except when off‑site at events or building partner relationships. Preferred Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience. Previous job or career fair experience.
