Details Work in the Med/Surg unit of a teaching hospital with a Level III trauma designation 16 private rooms with 1:4 patient ratios and 1:3 accommodations for higher acuity Geriatric and adult patient population 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM Every other weekend required Floating required Call requirements apply Uses Paragon (McKesson) EHR system Requirements Active RN license (WA or compact) required BLS and ACLS certifications required, with training in ACLS or a rhythm interpretation course Minimum 2 years of med-surg nursing experience required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required Skilled in EKG/cardiac monitoring, respiratory assessment and support, and medication titration Additional Information 13-week assignment Common diagnoses/treatments include ETOH detox, post-PCI, DKA/HHS, cardiac conditions, GI issues, and BIPAP support Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis No designated scrub color, but standard professional attire is required American Traveler Job ID P-745557.
