About the Role Happy to Help Caregiving is looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to support clients throughout Pocatello and surrounding communities . As an in-home caregiver, you will provide one-on-one, non-medical care that helps seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. This is rewarding work for individuals who enjoy helping others, building meaningful relationships, and making a positive impact in their community. Our caregivers are trusted members of the care team who provide reliable support, kindness, patience, and professionalism during every shift. What You’ll Do Depending on each client’s care plan, responsibilities may include: Assisting with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping Supporting mobility, safe transfers, and daily routines Providing medication reminders according to care plans Helping with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments Monitoring client well-being and communicating updates or concerns to the office Following individualized care plans while supporting client dignity and independence Caregivers are expected to arrive on time, maintain professional boundaries, and provide respectful, dependable care in every home. Qualifications We are seeking caregivers who are compassionate, dependable, professional, and committed to providing high-quality care. Preferred qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a criminal background check Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility support Reliable attendance and punctuality Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required We value kindness, consistency, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
