Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a reliable and innovative approach to public-facing security-related services. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun04:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a public transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting supervisors, first responders, and/or designated personnel when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, public areas, and/or restricted spaces, verify credentials when required, and document observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns according to post procedures. Support emergency response activities, crowd management needs, and/or special event operations while maintaining professional communication with the public and site personnel. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Handcuffing certification is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
