You will work with residents in a skilled nursing setting to provide direct therapy interventions under the supervision and plan of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include delivering treatments, documenting care and progress, educating patients and caregivers, and supporting rehabilitation goals to restore function and reduce pain. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from a CAPTE‑accredited program or equivalent. Active state PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, or geriatric rehabilitation preferred. New graduates welcome. Clinical documentation experience and familiarity with established plans of care preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience with restorative nursing programs and mobility/transfer training preferred. Experience using electronic medical record systems preferred.
