Description

• Conduct patient evaluations in outpatient and inpatient settings while developing tailored treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, doctors, and rehabilitation specialists, to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their loved ones through therapeutic goals, discharge processes, and home exercise recommendations
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient progress per facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure comprehensive care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Current CPR certification is preferred
• Any additional specialized certifications, such as those in neurological or geriatric care, are favorable but not mandatory
