Role Description - Decentralized Accounting

Role Description

· Seeking a leader who enjoys encouraging team development, good communicator and strong with all aspects of accounting and financials, controls and processes.

· Able to lead the team through budgets, forecasting accuracy, CapEx, taxes, revenue strategies and strong analytical skills.

• Responsible for leading the finance team, managing budgeting and forecasting, overseeing cash flow, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Director of Finance will partner closely with operations, sales, marketing, and food & beverage leaders to optimize revenue, control costs, and support strategic decision-making.
• Daily responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, analyzing variances, supporting capital planning, and presenting financial results and recommendations to ownership and executive leadership.
• The role also involves developing and mentoring team members, implementing internal controls, and maintaining strong relationships with auditors, lenders, and key external partners.

Qualifications

· 2 years of experience as a Director of Hotel or Resort Finance.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business,

· Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective financial strategies.

· Excellent relationship builder with leadership team and ownership.
