This role offers the opportunity to work closely with patients recovering from acute illness, injury, surgery, or neurological events in a fast-paced, collaborative environment focused on functional independence and quality outcomes.\n The COTA will implement individualized treatment plansestablishedby the Occupational Therapist (OT) and play a key role in helping patients regain strength, coordination, self-care skills, and confidence prior to discharge.\n Key Responsibilities:\n \n \n Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed OT\n \n \n \n Assistpatients with ADLs including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding\n \n \n \n Facilitate therapeutic activities to improve strength, balance, endurance, cognition, and fine motor skills\n \n \n \n Utilize adaptive equipment and train patients on compensatory strategies\n \n \n \n Accurately document daily treatment sessions and progress toward established goals\n \n \n \n Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PT, SLP, nursing, and case management\n \n \n \n Maintain patient safety and adhere to facility and regulatory guidelines\n \n Ideal Candidate:\n \n \n Active COTA license in practicing state\n \n \n \n Inpatient rehab or acute care experience preferred\n \n \n \n Strong clinical judgment and communication skills\n \n \n \n Ability to manage a productive caseload in a fast-paced setting\n \n This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA who thrives in team-based care and is passionate about helping patients achieve meaningful functional outcomes.\n \n Towne U.S. LLC Job ID #19014943.
