Service Advisor / Service Writer Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist with service needs

Write repair orders and document customer concerns

Recommend maintenance and repairs based on technician findings

Communicate repair timelines, costs, and updates to customers

Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs

Manage workflow and ensure timely completion of service

Service Advisor / Service Writer Qualifications

Experience as a service advisor, service writer, or automotive service consultant

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to sell recommended services and build customer trust

Strong skills in customer service, sales, communication, and automotive service operations
