Qualifications:

• Current, active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Demonstrated experience working with pediatric or school-based populations
• Thorough understanding of therapy approaches for students with speech/language disorders
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy to students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
• Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliant records
• Advocate for students’ needs and support their academic and social success

This position offers a standard schedule of 37.5 hours per week across five days, ensuring consistency for both you and your students. Caseloads span various age groups, and therapist preferences are thoughtfully considered when assigning students.
