Senior Java Spring Developer

Role Description

• Implement and maintain API RESTful with best practices, quality and security.
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate backend services with Angular and Sencha ExtJS based user interfaces, ensuring smooth interaction and data flow.
• Develop cloud-based solutions and ensure the smooth deployment and scaling of applications using GCP.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation in Confluence; ensure clarity and transparency for internal teams, and foster knowledge sharing within the team.
• Continuously monitor application performance and optimize both backend and frontend for scalability and speed.
• Work alongside product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights to help define product features and roadmaps.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum application uptime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development
• Intermediate/Advanced experience with Java
• Intermediate/Advanced experience with Spring and Spring Boot
• Advanced experience building RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with API Security, including authentication (OAuth, JWT) and best practices.
• Object-Oriented Programming, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
• Solid understanding of layered architectures and microservices basics.
• Basic experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Intermediate experience with Angular and frontend development
• Intermediate experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
• Advanced experience working in Agile development
• English level B2+

Requirements

• Familiarity with Sencha - ExtJS framework for UI development
• Experience with Navision or Salesforce integrations.
