Clinical Nurse Educator Registered Nurse (RN)

The Clinical Nurse Educator Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing expert, evidenced-based education to staff. This position provides instruction and training for nursing staff in the intensive care unit and all clinical nursing areas. Assist with the orientation of new employees, evaluation of their progress in the orientation process, and development and implementation of a learning plan for improving identified clinical deficiencies. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Experience with continuing education program development and evaluation
• Ability to monitor and support both new and experienced nurses
• Serve as BLS and/or ACLS Instructor
• Serve as a facility Prevention and Management of Disruptive Behavior (PMDB) Trainer

Preferred Experience:

• At least three years of recent critical care nursing experience
• Master's degree in Nursing or Nursing Education
• Previous experience as a nurse educator, clinical instructor, or staff development instructor
• Demonstrated skill in curriculum development and educational program evaluation
• Certification as a Nurse Educator (CNE) preferred
• Proficient in use of simulation and educational technologies
• Experience with quality improvement or patient safety initiatives
